Nature's Original Toothbrush

Long before toothpaste existed, people across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia reached for the miswak — a simple twig from the Arak tree (Salvadora persica) that has been cleaning and protecting teeth for over a thousand years. Science has since confirmed what ancient tradition always knew: miswak is one of the most effective natural tools for oral hygiene.

Now you can bring that same ritual into your daily routine with Salva Oral Care's Miswak Tooth Cleaning Stick — pure, unprocessed, and ready to use.

Why Miswak Works

  • Natural Antibacterial Action — Salvadorine and other natural compounds fight harmful bacteria at the source
  • Strengthens Enamel — naturally rich in calcium, fluoride, and silica to protect and remineralize teeth
  • Freshens Breath Instantly — natural essential oils leave your mouth feeling clean without artificial mint
  • Healthy Gums — tannins and resins reduce inflammation and support gum tissue
  • Zero Waste — no plastic, no packaging waste, completely biodegradable

How to Use

  1. Peel back about half an inch of bark from the tip
  2. Chew the tip gently until the fibers soften into bristles
  3. Brush in gentle circular motions across teeth and gums
  4. Rinse and store in a cool, dry place between uses

One Stick. No Toothbrush. No Toothpaste. Just Results.

Each stick lasts 2–4 weeks with daily use. 100% natural, sustainably sourced, and approved by centuries of satisfied smiles.

WOW! Earthy isn't quite the way I describe the smell of the stick when you open it however I am addicted now to the stick! WOW! I am a weed smoking tea drinker and these have cured the yellowing of my teeth considerably in just less than a month already. Cannot wait to see another months worth of stick use will do!!

I don't think a lot people here are describing the smell well enough. It's not just earthy. I can tell why the tree thus comes from is called a true mustard tree. It smells and tastes like a mustard. Very potent thought, almost sulfuric.

That being said, definitely smells like it naturally contains the compounds to keep my teeth and gums clean. I'm looking for cheap and biodegradable, and something I can potentially plant for myself in the future to have for as long as I'm going to in order to sustain myself.

If you're a nut like me, you'll push through the pungeant mustard flavor. I do a little coconut oil rinse after to clear the stank from my mouth.

Otherwise the bristles clean well. I didn't have to do any fancy tricks to get the toothbrush on my molars. I have big teeth and a small mouth too, I was able to reach all parts of my teeth with a little extra manuevering. The bristles do like to come off, I just keep going and rinse them out with water when I'm done.

The smell lingers on your hands too. Not sure about whitening yet.
